Connections
The XBLAST speaker system are not just speakers – they have onboard controls and facilities that make them an entire music system. One of the speakers hosts an integrated amplifier that takes music from a range of sources. It has an FM radio, and input sockets for USB memory sticks and connections to the earphone socket on an MP3 player or an iPod. Other sockets on the unit mean you can connect in another, wired mic, and also an electric guitar. There is a slot for an SD card and there are 2 sets of RCA sockets to connect in other devices, such as a CD player.
Beyond the standard connections, this unit has a great feature for connecting to music sources – Bluetooth capabilities. You can play music directly from a Bluetooth-enabled device, such a smartphone, without having to connect it with a speaker. The Bluetooth connection works from as far away as 30 feet, so you can keep you cell with you as you walk around the room and still hear its music playing out on the speakers.
Design
The design of the speakers really enhances any party. They come in a choice of bright colors – silver, blue, red, or black.
